About the Charles E. Lakin YMCA
The YMCA has had a presence in the Council Bluffs community since 1867, evolving itself over this time. The Charles E. Lakin YMCA was a dream by a community longing to address the health needs of Council Bluffs. With help from a lead gift by Charles E. Lakin and Iowa West, the Council Bluffs residents have rallied around this Y, which is here for all community members to not only live healthily, but to thrive.

New equipment has been installed at the Charles E. Lakin YMCA!

- Expanded cable lifting station, including 2 lat pulldowns, 2 cable rows, and 4 multi-use pulley stations.

Free Trial Terms & Conditions:
Valid within 10 days of submission. Trial memberships are valid for one time per person/family. The trial pass is good for an individual guest, two adults living at the same address or a family living in the same household. The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age and an area resident where the YMCA is located. The trial pass is subject to YMCA Policies and a Liability Waiver must be signed. All guests on the Trial Membership pass consent to receiving YMCA information & solicitations. No cash value.
