The YMCA of Greater Omaha’s Community-based Wellness Programs work towards providing solutions to improve quality of life for cancer survivors with LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA, those with Parkinson’s with Brain & Body, and individuals looking to lose weight with Y Weight Loss.
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA
LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is a research-based physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors reclaim their total health. This program is offered at no cost to any adult cancer survivor.

Brain & Body
Brain & Body (previously known as Delay the Disease) is an evidence-based fitness program for people with Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological disorders. Classes are designed to challenge individuals to improve physical function, balance, coordination, and brain health.

Y Weight Loss
The Weight Loss Program is designed to help people seeking a healthier weight achieve their goals by making small, modest changes to their daily behaviors, and forming sustainable healthy habits.
