Here at the Y, we believe in helping people of all exercise levels and abilities to find the best way to maintain a healthy exercise routine. As a member of the Y, you can find the perfect group exercise class for you, including Zumba, Yoga, aqua classes, and cardio/strength, just to name a few!

SilverSneakers® Circuit-Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Focus on upper-body strength with hand-held weights, and us resistance tubes and a SilverSneakers ball for a low-impact aerobics workout. A chair is used for support.

SilverSneakers® Classic–Move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase strength and range of motion. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for support.

Zumba® Gold–This class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Participants will experience all of the fun of Zumba® at a lower-intensity level.

Aqua Blast Moderate to high intensity levels of cardio and muscular endurance utilizing your own body against the resistance of the water; dumbbells and noodles are also used for added resistance and variety of movements.

Aqua Interval  incorporates elements of cardio and strength training. Participants will be encouraged to work at a level that challenges them giving a great workout.

Aqua Toning uses handbuoys, the resistance of the water, and dynamic movements to create improved muscle tone and definition.

Aquacise This low-impact class emphasizes cardiovascular fitness, muscle endurance, and flexibility at a moderate level. Participants need to be comfortable in the water but will not be working in the deep end.

Aqua Zumba® blends the fun of a Zumba® class with the low-impact environment of the water to create a fun, high-energy class.

Deep Water Workout This moderate to high intensity aerobic workout takes place in the deep end of the pool. Participants should be comfortable in deep water. Flotation belts or noodles will be used.

OWLS Older, Wiser, Livelier, Swimmers is a volunteer class that is a fun lively workout that increases cardiovascular endurance

SilverSneakers® Splash Jump in for a fun, shallow-water class that improves agility, flexibility, and endurance. This is a great low-impact option. No swimming ability is required and a SilverSneakers kick board or other aquatic equipment is used to improve strength, balance and coordination.

Water Walk A great place to begin your exercise routine. Water walking utilizes movements that increase flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance.

BODYATTACK®  caters to anyone, using instructor-led options. It combines athletic movements like running, lunging, and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. This class is for anyone who wants to feel like an athlete in an awesome team environment.

BODYCOMBAT® is a workout where we punch and kick, but without contact. Participants get their whole bodies fit and strong, burn massive calories, relieve stress, feel empowered and have a blast. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors, participants will strike, punch and kick their way through calories to superior cardio fitness.

Cardio Intensity -This cardio focused class will provide you the opportunity to increase your heart rate and burn calories. Athletic cardio moves that can be modified for any fitness level will let you work at the intensity that is right for you.

Cycling-Improve your cardiovascular fitness in this high-energy class. Class can consist of interval work, hill climbs, flat road drills, along with other terrain. All fitness levels welcome. Bring a towel and a water bottle.

danceFit is a great aerobic workout that puts a dance spin on conventional fitness moves. Whether you have two left feet or are a seasoned dancer, this addictive workout is a great way to have fun and get in shape. This class is designed to bring you the best all over body workout while moving to a mix of old-school jams and the latest chart-topping hits to get your heart pumping. The intensity can be adjusted by modifying moves to fit your body’s needs and abilities. Get fit, get toned, make friends and have fun.

Group Fight is an explosive cardio workout fueled by MMA moves from inside and outside the octagon. You are your own opponent in this high-energy experience that borrows training styles from mixed martial arts, kickboxing, Muay Thai, karate, functional athletic training, and more!

Low-Impact Cardio allows participants to increase their heart rate while minimizing the stress to joints and muscles. This workout will help strengthen your cardiovascular system with a fun upbeat workout.

Mixxedfit® uses current radio hits to inspire fun dance moves combined with boot camp style toning moves to create a great workout.

REFIT®–This cardio dance structured class uses uplifting music to inspire participants to improve their cardiovascular health and burn calories.

Step uses a platform bench and choreographed movements on and off of the step to train your cardiovascular system.

Zumba® mixes low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Much of the music used in this class is Latin-rhythm inspired.

20/20/20-20 minutes of cardio, weights, and abs/core each! This class increases your strength and metabolism by working all the major muscle groups using weights, tubing and balls. If you like to change up your workouts, try new things and be challenged, this is the class for you. This is a great strength and aerobic workout.

Circuit combines upper and lower body strength moves with cardiovascular work to keep your heart rate up. This fun, challenging class is designed for all fitness levels.

FIERCE combines cardio intervals set to a Tabata-inspired timer and strength training moves to provide you with a challenging workout. Instructors provide options to allow many fitness levels to find success.

HIIT-High Intensity Interval Training has participants working through challenging cardio intervals while actively recovering with strength moves.

Low-Impact Cardio Strength This class allows participants to improve their strength and cardiovascular systems. Participants will increase their heart rates with high energy, low-impact aerobic moves, and stregthen their muscles through the use of resistance tubing, dumbbells, or their bodyweight.

POUND® class instructs participants to use drumsticks to create a fun, energizing workout that combines cardio conditioning, body-weight strength training, with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. You will sweat, squat, and pound your way through this energetic class.

Step Interval utilizes a platform bench for cardiovascular interval conditioning and free weights or resistance tubing to strengthen and tone. Options will be shown to increase/decrease intensity level.

Total Body Conditioning (TBC)-Participants can expect intervals of high intensity cardio and strength training to create a fitness training experience. This class will improve participants overall fitness, agility, speed and athleticism in the high intensity class. Modifications can be made for all fitness levels but be prepared to push yourself!

Ultimate Strength & Cardio (USC) is an interval workout for muscular strength, endurance and cardiovascular systems that focus on functional training utilizing weights, body weights and variable resistance.

Barre is a low impact class influenced by strength training, Pilates, Yoga, and Dance. This class will help you focus on lengthening your posture and improving your fitness. 

Chair Pilates is a chair based Pilates class that is designed to help with balance, core strength, and flexibility.

Chair Yoga This class offers the benefits of yoga with the stability of a chair.  The focus is on developing strength, flexibility, balance and restoration in a safe guided practice.

Pilates  is a conditioning fitness class that focuses on body alignment and breathing. The exercises cover all core powerhouse muscle groups: abdominals, lower back, shoulders, thighs and gluteals.

PiYo®-A unique class designed to build strength and gain flexibility. A choreographed program that combines the elements of Yoga and Pilates with energy, power and rhythm. Think sculpted abdominals, increased overall core strength and greater flexibility. Appropriate for all fitness levels.

SilverSneakers® Yoga Move through a whole-body series of seated and standing yoga poses and breathing exercises. Chair support is offerd to safely performa a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and fnal relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Tai Chi  generates and circulates vital energy around the body by following certain principles of movement, posture and breathing. It improves the circulation of blood and brings about a balance of “chi‟ (vital energy) around the body. Tai Chi opens joints, relaxes muscles, flexes tendons and ligaments, eases tension, strengthens and energizes the organs, resulting in a healthier body and a stage of relaxation.

Yoga In this class the instructor will skillfully and gently guide participants through yoga postures for improved strength, balance and flexibility. Learn how to develop and control breathing through a series of flowing movements designed to strengthen and lengthen the muscles, developing a mind-body connection.

Barbell Pump is a high repetition, light weight strength training class. Each song within the class has a specific strengthening focus allowing participants to engage all major muscle groups in a 60-minute session.

BODYPUMP®  is a barbell class based on THE REP EFFECT, a proven formula that exhausts muscles using light weights and high repetitions, to sculpt, tone, and strengthen the entire body. Instructors will coach participants through the scientifically proven moves and techniques, pumping out encouragement, motivation, and great movement.

Core and More-Focus on core strengthening exercises for abdominal and back muscles to improve posture and assist with improved functioning for a healthy lifestyle.

Total Toning uses a variety of equipment to strengthen and tone the entire body. Each class will blend a variety of movements to focus on overall body strength.
