The YMCA of Greater Omaha Receives Top Training Provider Award from American Red Cross for Fifth Consecutive Year
May 2024 – The YMCA of Greater Omaha is proud to announce that we have been honored with The Top Training Provider Award from the American Red Cross for the fifth consecutive year. In 2023, we successfully trained 789 individuals in critical lifesaving skills such as Lifeguarding and First Aid CPR/AED.
This remarkable achievement is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our outstanding instructors. Their personal commitment to delivering high-quality training has been instrumental in our continued recognition. Our team of 25 instructors, comprised of 14 full-time and 11 part-time staff, ensures that our community remains safer and better prepared in emergencies.
We are thrilled to be ranked among the top 100 providers in the country. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our instructors for their unwavering commitment and to our community for their ongoing support.
