Youth Fitness

At the Armbrust YMCA we offer a variety of programs to help teens & kids stay active while building positive relationships, self-confidence, and overall wellness. The kids will use both cardio and strength training equipment, plus build a lifelong love of movement & fitness!

POWERHOUSE JUNIORS

Powerhouse Juniors is a small group style training designed to give preteen girls the opportunity to start learning weightlifting techniques while also having short, small group discussions about basic nutrition, exercise, and confidence. Girls will start to learn about creating healthy habits while also developing confidence in exercise. One or two day training pricing available.

POWERHOUSE

Powerhouse is a small group style training designed to give young women the tools they need to succeed, boost self-confidence, and overall help them feel empowered. This Personal Trainer lead class covers a variety of topics including body positivity, weight training techniques, and basic nutrition. Girls will get the opportunity to journal and discuss before they workout for the day. One or two day training pricing available

POWER TRAIN

Power Train is small group style weight training class for High School girls aged 15-18 years. Classes take place with a certified personal trainer in our private training studio. Girls will learn proper weightlifting techniques, improve overall strength, and develop confidence. Two or three day a week options are available with monthly payment plans.

4 class trial available upon request.

Classes held Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00-7:00 pm and Saturdays 9:00-10:00 am

STRENGTH & POWER

For boys aged 12-15, this eight-week small group style program is designed to introduce middle school/early high school boys proper strength training form and safely. This program will increase athletic strength and power with each session. Classes are held with a certified personal trainer twice per week.
