Social Programs are activities and groups that meet for fellowship and fun! They are free to members. An activity fee is charged to non-members. We encourage everyone to attend regardless if you have experience--it's a great time to learn something new!

Participants bring their own sewing machines and equipment to work on their own sewing projects. Join us for fellowship and creativity! Held in Activity Room B.
Tuesdays: 11:30 am-2:00 pm
Paintings and drawing. Bring your canvases, paints, supplies, creativity and enjoy an afternoon with fellow artists. Held in Activity Room B.
Wednesdays: 12:00-2:00 pm
Learn how to turn a piece of wood into a carving. This instructor led course will help you get started. This is for Beginners.
(Supply costs and specific tools may be required. More information available in your first class.) Held in Activity Room B.

Pickleball is a fun game that is played on a badminton court with the net lowered. It’s played with paddles & a perforated ball. It’s an easy sport for beginners to learn, but can be challenging and fast paced once learned. Play for fun, exercise & friendship! Two courts available.

Everyone loves bingo! Join every Thursday for some White Elephant Bingo. Only $.25 per card! Bring a White Elephant gift & get ready for your numbers to be called. Held in Activity Room C/D.
Thursdays: 1:00-3:00 pm
Come spend some time knitting, crocheting or Swedish Weaving with friends old and new! Held in Activity Room D
Hand & Foot
Mondays: 1:00-4:00 pm and Thursdays: 1:00-4:00 pm
Hand & Foot is a Canasta-type card game played with 3-6 decks of cards. Players are dealt 2 hands (a hand and a foot) and they must play through both. If you don't know how to play, stop in and watch. Before you know it, you'll be sitting down and having a great time! Held in Activity Room A.
Chicken Scratch Dominoes
Thursdays: 1:00 - 4:00 pm
This is a fun and easy to learn domino game, played with 2 or more players. The goal is to get rid of as many dominoes as possible and have the lowest score. Held in Activity Room A.
Tuesdays: 1:00-4:00 pm
Players score points by trick-taking and also by forming combinations of cards into melds. Beginners welcome.
Mondays: 1:00-3:00 pm
This tile based game takes skill, strategy, calculation and a bit of luck! Beginners are welcome and you will learn the game on your first day. Held in Activity Room D.
The YMCA Healthy Living Center hosts special events such as guest speakers on a variety of topics, instructional painting, grandparent/grandchild swim days, bus trips and more. Special events are announced at our welcome center and are in our weekly member email.
30 Point Pitch
Wednesdays: 1:00-4:00 pm
Hearts, Spades, Diamonds or Clubs - what's your suit? 30 point Pitch is just like regular Pitch, just with more points! You and a partner will bid and compete against 2 other players at your table. Beginners welcome! Held in Activity Room D.
Fridays: 1:00-4:00 pm
Don't lose your marbles! Joker is a fun game with cards, boards and marbles. If you don't know know how to play, beginners are welcome - you'll learn quickly! Held in Activity Room D.
Second Tuesday of the Month: 1:00-4:00 pm
This group of people work on a variety of projects together. Some examples include walker bags, doggie pillows, dignity bags and mittens. All items are donated to local organizations. Held in the Cafe.
Bridge - Duplicate and Social
Duplicate Bridge: Thursdays: 11:30 am-3:00 pm. Free lesson from 10:45-11:30 am
Social Bridge: Fridays: 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Hosted by the Bluffs Bridge Club. Duplicate Bridge for ACBL points led by certified ACBL instructor. During Social Bridge, help is available on bidding and playing of hands. Held in the Group Exercise Room.
