Healthy Kids Day®

Come to Stinson Park on April 23, 2017 from 11:00am-2:00pm and help us celebrate Healthy Kids Day®! This FREE day is open to all families in the greater Omaha community for a day full of fun and games!

Healthy Kids Day® is the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. The Y is so much more than sports, swimming and gymnastics, and a place for kids to hang out. The Y supports families in their efforts to teach healthy habits and keep kids active and learning, preparing them for a brighter future. It’s part of the Y’s promise to strengthen communities. The YMCA of Greater Omaha’s Healthy Kids Day celebrates kids’ health and continues to teach healthy habits for kids and families, encourage active play, and inspire a lifetime love of physical activity.

Healthy Kids Day is made possible with help from our partner sponsor, National Safety Council, Nebraska. The mission of NSCN is to promote safety and health by providing programs, resources, and education to reduce both the personal and economic loss associated with injuries, accidents, and health hazards.

Register for Healthy Kids Day today! The first 1500 kids will receive a free goodie bag. Bike helmets will be given away while supplies last.

When you register, you will be asked to create an account. Select any YMCA location and select “non member” if you are not a YMCA member.
Registering for Healthy Kids Day will ensure your free goodie bag and get you a spot in the “pre-registered” line – a huge perk on this very busy, popular day!
