The YMCA has a wide variety of youth activities for both boys and girls. These activities are coordinated through participating local YMCA branches as indicated below.

Do you have what it takes to be a great golfer? Learn proper safety, etiquette, rules, putting, chipping, and sportsmanship.

Gymnastics
Beginner levels through advanced available. Gymnastics improve balance, coordination, agility and body control. Detailed class descriptions are found in the Health & Well-Being program section on our website.

Judo
Judo is many things to many people. It is a fun sport, an art, a discipline, a recreational and social activity, a fitness program, a means of self defense or combat and a way of life. It is all of these and more.

Sports Fundamentals
Have a great time learning the basics. Introduction to the fundamentals of sports and sport motor skills through drills, games and other activities. Some programs will focus on individual sports, such as volleyball, football, basketball, soccer and baseball. Age groups may vary by branch. Call your local YMCA for more information.

Taekwondo
This Korean self-defense form teaches courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and strong spirit. Everyone is welcome.

Tennis
These programs are for youth needing a basic introduction to tennis. We teach basic skills quickly to new players in a group environment. Learn the game of tennis in a fun and easy way. Since instruction is part of the program, no previous tennis experience is needed.
